OJM’s sponsorship program is a great way to personally connect with a child in Uganda and support the development work in that child’s community. You will see first hand the difference your love and financial support can make. There are two levels: Secondary School Sponsorship and Primary School Sponsorship. When you sponsor a secondary school student, your monthly gift goes directly to that student’s tuition. You are also partnered with a local Ugandan sponsor who is responsible for providing the child with basic supplies and a portion of the school fees (OJM covers more for the double orphan since he or she is at more risk). When you sponsor a primary school student, your gift helps cover the general operating budget of the school in honor of your child as well as the development projects that help create sustainable long term care for the child.* |

*For the primary school sponsorships, there is no direct aid given to your child or the child’s family apart from the benefits associated with attendance at the school or from various development projects OJM supports in the community. These projects are for the purpose of raising the living standards of all the children and their caretakers. Though your gift is pooled, you will be notified if your child is no longer a part of the partnership with OJM.
